For many years, I’ve often wandered down questionable adult store aisles and been taken back by the sheer quantity and variety of lubricants, and to me, more often than not, turned off by these shady formulations, messy silicones, piña colada smelling oils, horrible packaging and tawdry branding. Having worked in the prestige beauty industry for most of my life, it was/is quite fascinating to me that one can still buy gasoline can sizes of silicone lube, pump included! 

Alternatively, drugstores seem to now have embraced the space and  display all kinds of dildos and stimulating devices, next to your generic basic go to lubes in assorted flavors, just down the baby food aisle.

Recently, prestige seems to also have added its own players, fueled by the Sexual Wellness movement, podcasts, sex therapists, relationship experts,  and often focus on vaginal, medical issues and painful intercourse.

Most amazing to me is that today, if you care about what you eat and what you put on your skin, you would insert into some of your most vulnerable areas, be it vaginally, anally or orally, formulas that contain toxic ingredients, synthetic dyes and fragrances, parabens and such, knowing that they will end up in your blood stream.

Given that landscape, I decided to create my own lube, a water-based, long lasting, formula that is non toxic, high performance, versatile and luxurious.
